this is great!!!
I just want to ask, if i want to texture a big and far building, i have to do the texture in... let's say.. 1024 x 1024? (because the building is big?) or 512x512 is ok? I'm self learning how to be an 3d environment artist :P
thank u

usually for whole building you don't use one texture for the whole thing you split it up and use tile-able textures, and there no bigger than 512x512

um.. ok... but.. i asked you because i see barely a difference between textures.. for example the naughty dog games. I know there's a thing called culling (or something like that) and the scenario renders in real time all the geometry and textures according the camera movement but .., for the real far away buildings it seems so... um... simple and... tricky... and... confusing XD

anyway.. lots of stuff to study... thanx for the reply :)
